Wanneroo, which is 50 Km north of Perth, Australia is home to a V8 motor sport circuit. This racing track was earlier known as Wanneroo Park but it came to be known as Barbagallo Raceway when the great motor sport personality Alf Barbagallo funded the track’s extension in 1992. This short circuit has been used for different types of racing vehicles and truck racing has been possible because of this circuit. The major revamp came in 2004 when the tracks were re-laid and this saw all the existing records getting broken soon. The tracks which were very rough changed into smooth and gripping ones.
Many racing events are held at Barbagallo raceway every year but the most famous event of the year is the V8 championship. The event is watched keenly by racing car supporters who throng in great numbers to the circuit. Barbagallo raceway is one of the top places in the world for V8 super car racing. The races are tough and very exciting for the onlookers. The straight stretch at the circuit is long enough for the drivers to attain maximum speeds which enthrall the spectators to no end.
Very few people know that they can have firsthand experience of driving a super car themselves at Barbagallo raceway. Yes, you heard it right. You can either get a ride of your life sitting besides an expert driver or you could yourself drive a zippy car. V8 supercar has a contract with Barbagallo raceway to provide this experience to the enthusiastic racing lovers. When they get so excited to see the fast racing cars moving quickly ahead in front of them, imagine what happens when they get a chance to ride the fast V8 themselves.
As the engine starts, it sends your pulse racing, and when it is at full throttle, it fills you with unlimited thrill and excitement. If you are a brave heart, you can choose to drive the circuit on a V8 yourself. The cars at your disposal are varied and can produce power up to 450 bhp and can run at a speed of 250Kmph which is enough to drive you crazy. At full speed, you can cover the laps which are total eight in number, in about forty five minutes. The long straight stretch is where you will be most excited as the car is able to achieve its maximum speed and it is enough to pump adrenaline up your head.
If you are a little apprehensive to drive the car yourself, you can take the services of an instructor who will make you sit beside him and touch amazing speeds of 200 Kmph within seconds.
The contract with V8 Super cars came to an end in 2008 and there is concern among the sport lovers whether the circuit will see anything of the sort in future. There have been complaints about the tracks are not suitable for racing and the WA government has been pondering about relaying the tracks once again as the sport loving public is disappointed to lose out on the championship.

Looking for a .38 revolver for personal defense/concealed carry. Is there a brand I should avoid?
After many hours at the firing range, I’ve decided that I’d prefer a .38 as my daily concealed-carry weapon for personal protection instead of a 9mm semi-auto, since revolvers are more idiot-proof than semi-autos. However, I’m hearing different opinions on which brands of .38 are good or bad. I’ve heard nothing but positive comments about Smith & Wesson, but I’d like to get opinions on other brands as well. Is there any brand of .38 that should be avoided, especially for concealed carry? And for the record, I have a handgun permit.

Taurus quality control sucks. Some of their firearms are ok, many are problematic, some are dangerous junk. And, if (or rather when) you send it in for repair, kiss it good bye for an average of 4 months, due to the huge number of their firearms in for repair.

I live in Mo and you can get a permit to carry a concealed. I dont want to carry a concealed weapon or anything. The issue is that my dad gave me a gun for me to keep at home. My husband is an over the road driver and I stay at home. He feels better with it in the house and so do I because I am alone with our two small children. ( 6yrs and 1 yrs) It stay in the top of my closet and they have no idea it exists. I have practiced shooting and can handle it well enough to defend myself. Is it illegal for me to have though? I didn’t buy it or anything. Can I get in trouble for having it? Its a small revolver not like a machine gun or anything. I dont have a criminal record and never got more than a handful of tickets when I was younger. My husband doesnt have a criminal record either. He I think has had like 1 ticket his entire life for speeding. I dont know where my dad got the gun. I am assuming he purchased it legally also since he is also a law abiding citizen. Just worried
“While people no longer must have a permit to buy a handgun in Missouri, they still must get a permit to carry a concealed weapon, Sheriff Gary Toelke said.
A revised state law that took effect Aug. 28 repealed the handgun permit requirement that has been the law since the 1920s, Toelke said.
Previously, an applicant for a handgun permit would fill out a form and submit to a records check by the sheriff’s office. If the applicant did not have a felony record, was not habitually drugged or intoxicated, and not a fugitive, a permit was issued. The person could then obtain the handgun and was also given a receipt for the permit to show the handgun was purchased legally. The cost for the permit was $10.

No, you do not need a permit. If you are a U.S. citizen, over 21 years of age, non-felon, and don;t have any charges of domestic violence on your record, you can legally possess a handgun.
The only thing that you should have though, is a bill-of-sale or a reciept or letter or something that acknowledges that you legally acquired it. It should specify the make, model, and serial number of the gun and that is was given or sold to you by your dad and have him sign and date it.
The reason for this is because if you ever have to use it, or if you are transporting it (see below) and get pulled over, or there is any other reason why the police would have to look at it, the first thing they do is run a serial # check to see if it is stolen. If your dad bought it used and in the rare case, it was stolen and pawned at one point, you have proof that you got it legally.
You are allowed, in every state, to transport the weapon in your vehicle without a concealled/carry permit as long as the gun is in a case and is kept separate from the ammunition. Either the gun or the ammo must not be within reasonable reach of anyone inside the vehicle. This means that if the gun is in the cab, the bullets must be in the trunk or vice-verse.
By the way, it IS legal for your dad to give you the gun. In this instance, the law sees it as him giving you a piece of personal property and does not require you to undergo background checks or registration or anything of that matter. Just wanted to throw that in there because I know some idiot is going to get on here and try to tell you that you can go to jail for having it.
