Hero is the latest Gospel CD put out by the very talented Kirk Franklin who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Kirk Franklin fans, and Gospel fans alike will be pleased with this one.
This CD will grab your attention right from the outset with Lookin’ For You and won’t let go until the very last note of the very last song Sunshine, which is another great track by the way.
These days it’s a very rare CD on which every single song is good or better than the one before it. This CD is certainly one of those rare CDs.
I’m of the opinion that Hero is certainly Kirk Franklin’s best work in a few years. A totally enjoyable CD and an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because it’s a collection that even the casual Gospel fan can appreciate and enjoy.
While the entire album is outstanding the truly standout tracks are Let It Go [track 5], The Process [track 6], and Keep Your Head [track 13].
My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 7, Imagine Me. Great track!

Since I learned that D-Sides isn’t a new album, but an album made of website-exclusive tracks, or songs they only play live (very cool), I got to thinking, what else is out there besides for the stuff I have? They’ve gotta have more secret stuff out there, anyone know where to find some? Or what it’s called?
Cool I have those same ones soem sogns you have to use the cds to unlock from places on the website like use the Gorillaz Album to unlock a song from the kitchen, and I know there is a song in russels room off the record you have to play it on his turntable. thats all i knwo of go to the webiste and post Secrect Tracks they can tell you more abotu hidden tracks on some of their cds you have to do certain things to find them though
What was the second album you remember buying?
My first was kind of a bust “Get Ready” by Rare Earth but it got me “ready” to buy a good second album which was actually self-titled but commonly known as “White Bird” by It’s A Beautiful Day. Groovy!
